Karneshia, is a Mississippi native, and MBA Marketing student at Strayer Univeristy in Birmingham, AL. Born with Spina Bifida, she uses a wheelchair for mobility, and is a proud member of the Lakeshore Lightening wheelchair basketball team. She has a strong passion for music and entertainment which she shares on her blogthroughout her website, shantelspot.com, and her published entertainment articles in iPUSH Magazine. She works for iPUSH as an entertainment journalist. There she has published articles such as, "Mad Skillz The Legacy" and "Cancer Can't Stop My Beauty." They follow people who hustled and gave their all to achieve their dreams and build their empire in the dance and beauty world.
Karneshia believes that it is time to change the standard of beauty and redefine "ability" in the disabled community. She has served on panels to share her story on her success in the pop-culture community. The path she is traveling now will lead her to her ultimate goal of having her own radio show. Additionally, she loves beauty and fashion.
