Welcome to my Happy Place!

Hi, I'm Stephanie Thomas a disability fashion styling expert, speaker, and educator. On Cur8able I share content based on my Disability Fashion Styling System©. And of course, I have to share some of my favorite adaptive and universal brands.

When it comes to dressing with disabilities, "I get it" personally and professionally. I was born an amputee missing digits on my right hand and feet, and for over two decades I've researched clothing and retail trends for people with disabilities. I'm uniquely qualified to do this work, and I love it!

Wanna know more? Here is a link to my full bio and my TEDx TALK. I hope you'll stay a while. Who knows, maybe Cur8able will become your happy place too.

In Grace and Style,

I'm a Disability Fashion Styling Expert. A term I coined that means I use my Disability Fashion Styling System™ to craft authentic stories of people with disabilities.  I also enjoy collaborating with brands that share my mission. My background is in media. I worked as a television and radio reporter/producer for over a decade. Now, in addition to working as a trusted Los Angeles based styling expert exclusively for actors and influencers with disabilities,  I also host the Cur8able podcast.

As an academic, I lecture and facilitate interdisciplinary college courses in Fashion Marketing and Advocacy Communication. I'm also the author/editor of an anthology "Fitting In: The Social Implications of Dressing with Disabilities."  This textbook will be released nationally in Fall 2020. If you have a project, you'd like to work on, let's chat.
